It’s time to keep it ALL DIGITAL.

The digital revolution has finally landed for the motion film industry just as it did for the photographic industry a decade ago and the audio industry prior to that. With the integration of Non-Linear Editing and the Digital Intermediate process into the motion film industry, the one missing link in the chain was cost effective, clean and functional digital aquisition.

A solution to this problem was proposed by a company called RED in 2006 and in January 2007, Digicine reserved a number of cameras, with fingers crossed that RED could deliver on their specifications. We are pleased to announce that the RED ONE camera has exceeded these specifications and our own expectations.

When shot correctly the RED produces a beautifully clean image that responds extremely well in a variety of professional hardware and off-the-shelf software environments. Our cameras, lenses and chosen workflow are fully tested and the beauty of the RED system is that there is flexibility in the choice of outputs.
